Simply Scrappin' Kits make fantastic cards!!

This week my Stampin' Up! card classes in Ottawa and Gatineau featured some of my Simply Scrappin' Kits!

They are fantastic to use for quick scrapbook pages, or cut them down further and make a bunch of awesome cards!  Perfect for card making or scrapbooking while traveling, or for that crafter who doesn't own everything yet!  Personally I love them anytime as they always provide a wow!

Stampin' Up! Simply Scrappin' Kits come with:
8 sheets of coordinating 12x12 textured cardstock
6 sheets of 12x12 Designer Series Paper (the pretty patterned paper)
6 sheets of self adhesive die cut cardstock stickers

Best part is they've lowered the price in our Idea Book & Catalogue....
now the Simply Scrappin' Kits are only $24.95 each!

In our new Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue, in addition to the Simply Scrappin' Kits,
Stampin' Up! has also come out with a page of party kits and a page of quick accents!

Enjoy!

This page was completely cased by my downline and friend Michelle. Thanks for the inspiration!

Cards made with Secret Garden Simply Scrappin' Kit

Today I wanted to post a few pics of cards that my dear friend Cecilia
made with leftover bits of her Stampin' Up! Secret Garden Simply Scrappin' Kit.
This kit is now retired, and no longer available for purchase, but the cards are still awesome!

There is actually no stamping at all on these cards
... she only used the cardstock stickers that come in the kit.

You can add a stamped greeting or image or two, as well as some 3D elements (brads, ribbon) if you would like...but as you can see, you don't have to. They make beautiful cards on their own.

Simply Scrappin' Kits - not just for scrapbooking! Hope you liked Cecilia's creations!

Scrapbooking - Welcome Isabella layout

Happy Wednesday!

I decided to showcase a little bit more of my scrapbooking today. I am sorry for the poor quality photo - it was taken over a year ago before my wonderful husband bought me a new digital camera for Christmas :)

This layout is of the birth of our daughter....so yes, they are birth photos, just moments after she was born via emergency c-section.

Page 1:

The title, which didn't show up so well in the photo reads Welcome in Stampin' Up!'s Big Deal Alphabet.

Page 2:

I know that many scrapbookers prefer to do their journalling by computer, but I really love doing it by hand in my handwriting. One of the things I love most about going through my Baba's (Grandmother) old scrapbooks is her handwritten notes about who is in the picture, when it was taken and what they were doing. I find it so facinating! So I wanted to do the same for my children and their future children when they look at my scrapbooks.
Have a great day!

Brother and Sister Scrapbook Page

Good Morning!
I realized last night that I haven't posted any scrapbook pages that I've done yet.. so I pulled out
this one for you.
It is a very simple layout using textured cardstock as the 12x12, though I don't think the picture shows that, some DSP (designer series paper), double stitched ribbon, cardstock stickers from one of our simply scrappin' kits and of course some rub ons.
This page features pics of my two babies when they were babies. They are two years apart, but I love comparing their pictures at around the same age to see the resemblance. I love 'em soo much! My daughter was the chubby one as a baby - so cute!! They're 6 and 4 now :)
I hope you get some stampin' or scrappin' in this weekend!
Jen
