Sweet Centers Halloween Card - Eek a Spider!

This morning I finished off the cards I have been designing with the new Stampin' Up! Sweet Centers stamp set and sweet treat cups!

Here are several pictures of the Hallowe'en card I made with a spider ring inside being the sweet treat! I made a pull up bookmark (EEK you're sweet) that would release the treats (spider ring in this card). In the pic below it is pulled up half way to show you....

Here is the inside - I stamped the words a Halloween Hi! on the inside. When the tab is pulled up, that is where the spider ring will come out :)

And here's the spider ring. I love this design (thanks to a fellow male demonstrator named Mike)because you don't have to take the card apart to get at the sweet treat inside. Also..once the spider ring is out, I could add hallowe'en candies instead of the ring. Just think about how cute some candy corn would look in here!

This card was made using:
Stamp Sets: Sweet Centers, The More the Merrier
Cardstock: Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Dusty Durango
Extras: Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8 Circle Punch, Dusty Durango polkadot Grosgrain ribbon
Non Stampin' Up!: plastic spider ring

Pretties Kit with Thouroughly Modern Paper

Once I had found *the card* for Christmas, I moved on to more sunnier ideas that have been rolling around my mind. I decided to pull out my Pretties Kit once again and of course my In Colours. I love this card! You could add a sentiment on the bottom right if you'd like, but I am leaving mine just the way it is for now until I know who I am going to send it to. Members attending my upcoming classes and workshops will also be making this card!

I made this card using:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Melon Mambo
Designer Series Paper: Thouroughly Modern
Accessories: Pretties Kit Flower, Filigree Brads, Circle Punches, Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Grograin Ribbon (yes there is polkadots on the other side of the ribbon!)

Don't forget to sign up for my classes or book your workshop/stamping party today!

Welcome Baby Card and Bella's Creation.

Good Morning!
Last night I was creating alongside my daughter for some personal cards I need to mail out.

When I stamp with Bella I often used past In Colours - so I don't mind if she uses up my cardstock. I know, not nice Mommy right? But she creates A LOT and knows the difference between Stampin' Up!'s awesome quality and the paper from the big box stores. I don't want to squash her creativity and as my daughter, its okay she wants the best....retired cardstock!

If I ever have a customer who misses the awesome past In Colours - not a problem - I likely have packages stashed aside and could spare some.

Here is another one using the Wild About You Stamp Set and part of the retired Friends and Flowers Simply Scrappin' Kit. Now onto a proud Mommy Moment....

Here is my proud Mommy moment - above and below is my 5 year old's masterpeice. She finds it very important to decorate the inside as well! The just for you part is from my table, but the rest - including the eyelet border punch on the bottom is all Bella! Unfortunately it was made with Rich Razzleberry Textured Cardstock...told you the girl has taste! :)

Razzle Dazzle, Pun Fun and Circle Circus Cards

Good Evening!

Today I wanted to share with you two very different cards.

This first card is made using Stampin' Up!'s new Razzle Dazzle Stamp Set. I cased this card almost completely from my downline (and good friend!) Michelle - she creates such beautiful things! But of course I have to tweak it just a bit to make it workable for my classes and parties and of course put the Jen DiMarco touches on it! Her original one had clear embossing on the top and where I put the polkadot ribbon, she had a strip of Crushed Curry Cardstock.

Stamp Set: Razzle Dazzle
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo
Designer Series Paper: Razzleberry Lemonade
Ink: Melon Mambo
Ribbon: Crushed Curry Polkadot Grosgrain

Don't yah just love it!

This next card I think is just so adorable! It is created for my Stamping 101 Class that I hold monthly for new Stampers, or those just trying to get back into the swing of things. I always show how the simple cards with no bling - can also be fantastic! If you ever need a quick and easy card - how cute would this be?

It is made using the following:
Stampin' Up! Stamp Sets: Pun Fun, Circle Circus
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay
Ink & Marker: Bermuda Bay

Asian Artistry & In Colours ... beautiful combination!

I just finished mounting and playing around with my Asian Artistry Stamp Set.

The cardstock is Stampin' Up! 2009-2010 In Colours: Crushed Curry, Soft Suede
Designer Series Paper: Razzleberry Lemonade
Extras: Razzleberry Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Razzleberry & Old Olive Markers

Asian Artistry is a Level 2 Hostess Set - which can be earned only by hosting a Stampin' Up! card and/or scrapbooking party, or putting in a large Stampin' Up! order with me.

Note: I do have hostesses all over Canada who have catalogue parties and combine orders with friends so they can receive all the amazing hostess benefits. Sometimes they place the order all by themselves - lol ! (We all do it...just don't admit to it!)

There is also a FANTASTIC hostess special coming up in September 2009! I'll reveal the details in future posts!! But you're gonna love it!

Above is another sample this time using Stampin' Up!:
Dusty Durango and Crushed Curry In Colours.

The ribbon is the Crushed Curry Polkadot Ribbon - but I flipped it over - so no polkadots show! Yes - there are 2 sides to this amazing ribbon - the polkadot side and the non polkadot side! So cool - I'll post pics of that in my next post!!

Finally - Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry cardstock paired with the Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper. I LOVE this paper - can you tell? lol.

That's it for now...

Razzleberry Lemonade and Stampin' Up! 2009-2010 In Colours

Good Evening!

Tonight I wanted to post a few pics of my latest creations.

Of course I am using the new 2009-2010 Stampin' Up! In Colours.
Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry
and the amazing Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper
Razzleberry polkadot grosgrain

In this next pic I decided to colour some flowers from my Pretties Kit, with my 2009-2010 Stampin' Up! In Colour Markers. Note - they do need time to dry! lol. I was too eager and put the card together. Demos can make mistakes too! You'll see in the pic where the Melon Mambo bled onto the Designer Series Paper and the Crushed Curry flower. Eeep!

These Stampin' Up! 2009-2010 In Colours:
Melon Mambo
Crushed Curry
Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper

Where am I this week? My last week at the cottage of course!
I spent a day in Ottawa doing a private class and delivering some orders...(hence the lack of posts until today). But for the next few days, the kids and I are here..in this paradise, until my Stampin' Up! Party in Ottawa, then I'm back in Montreal!
Wouldn't you love to eat dinner with a glass of wine with this as your view?

Have a great night!

Stampin' Up! Daisies using the Big Shot

This afternoon I wanted to show you one of my new favourite things to
do with my Stampin' Up! Big Shot:
Make BEAUTIFUL daisy flowers!!

This one is made with the new 2009-2010 In Colours Melon Mambo with a little bit of the Crushed Curry in the middle.

I made this using the Daisies Flower #2 Bigz Die for the Stampin' Up! Big Shot.

I recently been asked - do our Stampin' Up! dies work in the Cuttlebug? Yes they do!!

Here is a close up pic of the flower as well as a pic of the Die I used.

Item 114520 - Daisies Flower #2 Bigz Die $26.95.
Hope you like it as much as I do!
I look forward to making many more of these, in many different colours!

Happy Stamping!

Get Well Soon Card using the Big Shot

Good Morning!

I am playing around with some of the new Stampin' Up! in colours and the Stampin' Up! Big Shot this week. I have over 100 cards that I need to make for a lady in Alberta and want to get it just right. Her request - simplicity is the key.

The card above was made with:
Thoughts and Prayers Stamp Set (Item 113252 $34.95)
Crushed Curry cardstock and classic ink
Soft Suede cardstock and classic ink

Normally I would sponge the background...but this time I pulled out the stipple brush. I really like its effect too!

I used the Top Notes Die and the Distressed background Die in the Big Shot. Can you see the crushed curry cardstock has texture on it? I'm not sure if it shows in my pic or not. Anyhow, its feels and looks really neat!

Here is a pic of the full Thoughts and Prayers Stamp Set....
Later today I'll post pics of where myAnnual Girls Only Stamping Retreat will be.

Stampin' Up! Lots of Bolts

Hello Again,

Before I head to Ottawa I wanted to post the Lots of Bolts card I made for my son.

As a Stampin' Up! Demo we were allowed to pre-order a few of the *new* stamp sets, cardstock and accessories from the 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog. I wasn't going to order this one, but my son Palmar insisted I do. He got upset saying that he doesn't own a stamp set and his sister and I own so many! When he's right, he's right!

So Palmar this one's for you! Hope you don't mind that Mommy borrowed your set!

Above is a close up of the robot. Not sure if you can tell from the pic or not, but I used the new In Colour markers to ink him up and stamp him, then coloured him in using my blender pen and a bit of the ink from the ink pads.

The Stampin' Up! 2009-2010 In Colours used on this card:
Soft Suede
Dusty Durango
Rich Razzleberry
Crushed Cherry

Here is the full Stampin' Up! Lots of Bolts stamp set Palmar is the proud owner of :

I'll check in tomorrow to let you know the new Deal of the Week!
