As I await my UPS man...more pics from Quebec City Regional

As the title suggests, I am sitting here awaiting the UPS man -
who has on his truck my Stampin' Up! goodies!
Rather than pace back and forth and complain, I figured I'd make myself useful and post some more samples from the Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar held last weekend in Quebec City. These were cards on the sample boards - so I'm sorry I don't know who made them.

I like this next one quite a bit!

Look at this colour combo...

And so you have sample other than hearts...here is an awesome sparkly card made using the single stamp Dasher - which will be featured in my November classes and stamp a stacks.

For my fellow Canadian friends -have an awesome Thanksgiving Weekend!!

More samples from the Stampin' Up! Regional in Quebec City

Good Morning!

I wanted to share some more of the pics from the samples on display at last weekend Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar in Quebec City. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pic above and will totally CASE it. It screams "Jen DiMarco card" to me :)

Take a peek at this gorgeous scrapbook page....so simple, so beautiful!

This is one of the samples from the Technique Presentations - showcasing make your own ink pad with reinkers and felt so the leaves can be a variety of colours. Yes you can also marker them, but if you create a make shift ink pad, you can stamp approx 10-15 times without having to reink. Whereas if you used your Stampin' Markers you would have to re- maker each time. Very neat idea!

Can you see the dimension on the tangerine tango in the pic below?
Its made with circle punches!

More pics from Quebec City Regional Seminar!

My thoughts for the day: Heeheee...Shannon Googled me :) Shannon West googled me!! lol. :) Love yah!

As promised...
Here are some more pics from the Stampin' Up! Regional Convention in Quebec City.

The amazing 3D pumpkin frame and Thanksgiving candle (above) were also made by Brandi Wiggins! She is one talented stamper!

Here is another view so you can see how awesome it is!

Now onto the presentations.... Carrie Cudney is a fantastic presenter!! Thank you so much for your Tempting Techniques.. 'cause that's what they were!

This one is done putting our Stampin' Pastels chalks in our crystal effects...and mixin it all together to make a beautiful bubble of colour. Can't wait to try this!!

I am so sorry the final project is blurry...but its awesome!!!

Here are two more techniques Carrie showed us.

The one on the left she called Colour to Background.
Using wax paper in the Big Shot embossing folder Petals a Plenty

The one on the right is Faux Reptile Scales.
This one is totally awesome - and I'll be trying it in a class... Its using paper towels!!
You can see the strip she used under the turtle on the left. Its feely too!

And here is an adorable bookmark using the Stampin' Up! crocheted flowers that are dyed with our reinkers. Love that you can personalize them to your projects with a just a few drops of our reinkers dies! Of course she choose Rich Razzleberry one of our awesome In Colours.

That's it for now... next post I'll have pics of my family vacation in Quebec City too!

Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar in Quebec City

Good Morning!

I had a fabulous weekend in Quebec City! My family and I drove down for the Stampin' Up! Regional Convention and decided to make a mini weekend vacation out of it! The Hotel Plaza was stunning - Quebec City is BEAUTIFUL - and I had a fantastic time at the Stampin' Up! Regional!

Above is the pic of the stamp set we received for attending and one of the make and take instruction sheets we made! Its the Berry Christmas Stamp set (which I didn't own yet!).

Above is Shannon West and I :) I totally adore this girl - she is a fantastic presenter, but just an amazing person!! I first met her at the Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar in Halifax, Nova Scotia years ago ... thought she was fab then, thinks she's even more fab now!

This is Carrie Marcelin, Shannon West and I :) Carrie is from Stampin' Up! Canada's head office in Calgary. Okay, so she's originally from Montreal (YEAH) but she works for SU out of the Calgary office. I first met Carrie in at the Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar in Montreal last year! She is a wonderful person to speak to - always willing to listen to all my ramblings :)

And it wouldn't be a post without a few samples. These are are the samples that a fellow awesome demo - Brandi Wiggins (see she and I above) presented at the Regional. OMG I freakin' adore Brandi! She is so amazing and fun! You know when you just meet someone and you think...crap it sucks you live so far away (she's up in Chibougamau) . But its no wonder we clicked - she's originally from Western Canada (Calgary) and I'm originally from Winnipeg - so there yah go! Oh and Brandi - sorry about the pic..but your eyes were actually closed in both, and I looked better in this one - lol!

LOVE LOVE LOVE these!

I'll have lots more to post over the week - not to worry!

Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio Convention 2009

Stampin' Up! 's My Digital Studio
Digital Scrapbooking Stampin' Up! Style
to be Released September 2009

This presentation was made at the Stampin' Up! Convention 2009 by Brent Steele.

The software can be used on both PCs and MACs.
It is for both the beginner digital scrapbooker or the advanced digital scrapbooker.
It comes with 7 predesigned layouts that you can use to make your experience quick and beautifully coordinated.

You can use all of the My Digital Studio ideas, pick and choose the ones you like or you can come up with your own design and style entirely with their many images and options.

Here is one version of the scrapbook page Brent showcased....

And here is another version....

Stampin' Up! Convention 2009 Goers were of course able to get their hands on some of the fully professional printed My Digital Studio Scrapbooks. They have reported that the quality is *AMAZING and Superior to anything they have seen*.
(thanks to BJ Smith for the following pics!)

Notice the Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up! Stamp Set Images and oooh so much more!

My favourite part - once it is all printed (from your printer or theirs)
since it is all Stampin' Up!
you can add 3D embellishments (brads, eyelets, ribbon, hardware etc)
for that final "feely touch" that we scrapbookers love!

The Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio can be used for more than just scrapbooking!

You can also use the software to make calendars, cards and more!
Below are samples of:
a 12x12 Album Book, a 12x12 Calendar, and 8.5x11 Calendar and a Mini Book!

The software comes with hundred and hundreds (maybe thousands!) of Stampin' Up! stamped images - that can be scaled to the size you want!!!

And the final My Digital Studio Display Board...

Happy Digital Scrapbooking!
