Brayering and Upsy Daisy

In the Thursday afternoon class I teach at the West Island Women's Centre - one of my students asked me about a brayer and how to use it.. Now, we all have seen some of the horrific things I have made using a brayer.... lol Somehow I can teach people how... but my cards just don't turn out quite that wonderful!

Anyhow, I didn't want to disappoint Claudine - so above you will find one of the cards I made - and taught - in this week's class.

Not too bad if I say so myself! As it turns out Claudine is fabulous at the brayer! Stay tuned for more pics this weekend as I download them from my camera.

One stamping card- several twists...

Good Evening!

Wow what a week of fantastic Summer temperatures!! Last weekend we opened our pool - woohoo for long weekends...and I have already taught 2 classes this week pool side!

Before I head into another busy weekend, I wanted to show you how at one party last week several guests - who have never stamped before - changed my sample! This is what I love LOVE about doing Stampin' Up! workshops! I make my sample one way...and many give it their own personal touch :) These samples are from the guests at Laurence's party. I believe they were stamped by Gemma, Laurence and Han. I know the Merci Beaucoup was made by Gemma - because in her words "I have many people to merci beaucoup! " Such a delight to stamp with these ladies...looking forward to doing it again soon!

Oui c'est vrai, je fais des ateliers en francais aussi! Mon accent viens de l'ecole a Winnipeg, mais je suis trilingue quand meme. Anglais, Francais puis Italien.

Did you know that I do over half of my workshops and classes during the weekdays - daytime? Its true! Of course I have my Friday night technique clubs, weekend Open Stamps and parties...but most of my customers this year have preferred daytime. Let me know when you would like to book your own workshop or class.

Thank You to those who attended the Shopping Event!

This weekend we celebrated my son Palmar's 8th birthday and my daughter Bella's 6th Birthday!!

Above is a picture of the most delicious cakes made by Cakes by Karin . They are both nut free, since we had some kids coming to our part had nut allergies! Aren't they fabulous!
Karin also made my husband's 50th and my son's Spongebob cake! Thanks Karin!!!

Birthday Party invite and cake for my son's 8th birthday!

Yesterday my son Palmar turned 8 !! Happy Birthday !!!! Above is the invitation to his party using Palmar's personal name stamp and his Stampin' Up! Love Bots stamp set..
