A Merry Christmas Card...

Did I freak you out a bit with my last post on Valentine's Day?
 I know, I know! Its not even Christmas!
However, Stampin' Up! did put together a fantastic promotion that started today, 
so I wanted to be sure to share it with you ASAP! 
 Not to worry, I am back into full Christmas mode....  ENJOY! 



A Merry Christmas Card (4-1/4" x 5-1/2")
Stamps:

Instructions



A Merry Christmas Card (4-1/4" x 5-1/2")
1. Fold Crumb Cake Card Stock (8-1/2" x 5-1/2") in half to form card.
2. Stamp holly image in Crumb Cake ink repeatedly on front of card.
3. Punch Very Vanilla Card Stock (3-3/4" x 1") using Scallop Trim Border punch.
4. Layer punched border under Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper (3-3/4" x 4-3/4") and adhere both to front of card.
5. Distress edges of Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper (3" x 3-3/4") with Crumb Cake Classic Stampin’ Pad. Stamp poinsettia image in Early Espresso ink on distressed piece of Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper.
6. Adhere distressed piece of Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper to front of card.
7. Stamp holly image in Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla Card Stock (2-1/2" x 2-1/2"). Color sentiment with Always Artichoke Stampin’ Write Marker and stamp on Very Vanilla Card Stock.
8. Punch out sentiment using Decorative Label Punch. Distress edges using Crumb Cake Classic Stampin’ Pad.
9. Punch hole in label using 1/16" Circle Punch and tie with Linen Thread. Apply Stampin’ Dimensionals to back of label.
10. Thread Early Espresso 5/8" Satin Ribbon through Linen Thread loop and tie around front of card.
11. Adhere label to card.

Sweet Treat Cups Birthday Invitation - Stampin' Up!




I just love this idea for a birthday party invitation!  My 6 year old watched this video with Brian demonstrating...and she said - can we do that for my birthday?  Yes of course!!

Stampin' Up! has a fantastic variety of rub ons, and heavy weight self adhesive die cuts!  If you haven't taken a peek at them in the catalogue...I highly recommend it!  The die cuts are featured on page 176, and the rub ons are on page 184 of the Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue!

Some more Holiday Cards!



Happy December!!!  Have you made or bought your Christmas Cards yet? 
All my cards are for sale - I take custom orders of any size!


For those of you who stamp with me often...especially at Christmas..
you know that Lovely as a Tree is one of my favourite Fall / Winter Stamp Sets!  

This week I am featuring it using the spotlight technique above..but instead of a small 1" spotlight I opted for a large spotlight!  We also used the Sizzix Big Shot Petals a Plenty Embossing Folder in the background on the Stampin' Up! real red paper.  Yes, that's the Stampin' Up! exclusive Sizzix Top Note die!

For those of you who follow me on my Facebook Fan Page - you will have already seen this set of cards I am teaching in my private classes and workshops this week.  

 The snowglobe on the left is a shaker card using the Stampin' Up! sweet treat cups! 
  It also features the big shot, and a few punches.

The Peace on Earth card in the center is using the serene snowflakes stamp set, 
silver embossing, a brad in the center and a variety of punches.

The card on the right is watercoloured.  This adorable girl is from Greeting Card Kids! I love that set!  Watercolour paper, ribbon punch, serene snowflakes and a little bling!
